Your Role

As a Water Resources Engineering Intern, you will collaborate closely with our team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing general project engineering tasks under the guidance of a Professional Engineer or Technologist,
  • Creating and evaluating various hydrological and hydraulic models,
  • Drafting reports, design plans, specifications, and contract documents,
  • Overseeing construction administration and general site supervision duties,
  • Engaging with clients to ensure their project goals are achieved,
  • Implementing and advocating for Englobe's health and safety protocols.

Your Qualifications

  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on water resources and familiarity with design software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS; knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS will be viewed as an additional advantage,
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO),
  • Demonstrated understanding of general construction techniques,
  • Possession of a Class G Driver's License and a personal vehicle for travel,
  • Self-driven with strong leadership, project management, and client interaction skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential,
  • Proven awareness and consideration for occupational health and safety standards.
