We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Victoria Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
