Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Manage front desk operations, including registration, scheduling, and billing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and documents
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, typing, and photocopying
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant certificate
- 1 year of recent related office/clerical experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
