Job Overview:

The mission of the Customer Authentication Solutions team is to provide Remitly's global clientele with a secure means to access our diverse array of products, features, and services through a cohesive, modern, and seamless experience. This initiative reinforces Remitly's commitment to transforming lives with trustworthy financial services that cross borders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to comprehend requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement solutions for complex and ambiguous challenges utilizing full stack technologies such as React, NodeJS, Go, and Java/Kotlin.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the usability and experience of our Authentication platform.
  • Engage in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and work alongside team members to uphold code quality and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in working across multiple programming languages, microservices, technologies, and systems.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders such as Design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and advanced deployment strategies.

Compensation Details:

The starting base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company, and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
