About the Role:
The Customer Success Engineering team at Remitly plays a vital role in providing seamless support experiences for our customers. As a member of this team, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that our customers and agents have a frictionless experience when interacting with our platform.
You will be reporting to an Engineering Manager and will work as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with a focus on frontend development. As an important member of the team, you will make long-term strategic decisions, designing and maintaining scalable and user-friendly applications for our Remitly Customer Success Team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical strategy and systems of the Customer Success Technology engineering team.
- Design and implement frontend components and features using modern frameworks like React or Angular and web technologies such as NextJS.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the user experience and usability of our customer success platform.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of our software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.
Your Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment.
- Experience as a lead, working on both frontend, backend, and other areas to delight users both internally and externally.
- Experience leading other engineers on large features in collaboration with Product Management and other partners.
- Experience with CI/CD and advanced deployment strategies.

- A competitive salary range of $148,000-$180,000.
