About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team at State Street. As a Capital Markets Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger for various fund entities, preparing supporting work papers for financial statements, and reviewing and/or preparing capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for fund entities
  2. Prepare financial statements, portfolio schedules, and capital account allocations
  3. Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations
  4. Prepare management, annual, and incentive fee calculations
  5. Prepare client correspondences and special projects as requested

Requirements

  1. Experience leading verbal and written communications in English at senior levels with internal and external clients
  2. Excellent administrative and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables
