Capital Account Manager

We're seeking a skilled Capital Account Manager to join our GTM Financial Services Team in NoAM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a book of retail customers and supporting the growth and operations of Lightspeed customers through our financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with existing customers to promote our financial services offering;
  • Provide exceptional service and utilize effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness of Lightspeed Capital for merchants;
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify financial service opportunities across your book of business;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize the growth of your book of business;
  • Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management to maximize opportunities within the assigned territory;
  • Employ effective business development and relationship management techniques to assist in meeting or exceeding established sales targets for the territory;
  • Provide regular feedback and serve as the voice of the merchant to business leaders.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of work experience, preferably in a FinTech or Financial Services organization;
  • Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running;
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline;
  • Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives;
  • Strong work ethic and a self-driven desire to succeed;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally.
