Overview

BC Hydro is seeking a skilled Distribution Systems Design Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical distribution systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical distribution systems that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in electrical distribution systems design or a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment (in-person and remote)
