Electrical Engineering Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education and Experience: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, with 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes, and assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Testing and Analysis: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.

Work Environment: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
