About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD. As an Electrical Engineering Technologist, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems, including the creation of prototypes and the testing of electronic components.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes, and assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Technical Support: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, and assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components.
  • Specialized Testing: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical engineering technology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
