Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facilities in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks and security breaches.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents.
  • Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.

Requirements

  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
  • Calm under pressure and confident in problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Available to work overnight shifts on weekends.
