About the OpportunityThe physiotherapist will report to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. Services may be provided in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. The physiotherapist will also educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. Additionally, this position includes the supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and the oversight of assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential. The successful candidate may be required to provide services across the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
About YouWe would be pleased to hear from you if you possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- BCLS certification
- Proficiency in computer skills (statistics input, word processing)
- Physiotherapy is a diverse profession requiring additional courses/education/training in various specialized areas of practice, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, and balance training.
- Competencies in additional languages are an asset, with French preferred.

Hours- Part-time Long assignment, 50% FTE, 37.5 hours biweekly

$42.89 hourly
