We're seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a casual, hourly position with a long assignment of 50% FTE. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

About the Role

  • Assess and diagnose patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities
  • Treat patients using various techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and education
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • BCLS certification
  • Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing
  • Additional education or training in specialized areas, such as cardio-respiratory techniques or manual therapy

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of $42.89
  • Part-time long assignment with 37.5 hours biweekly
  • Approximately 12 months
