We're seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a casual, hourly position with a long assignment of 50% FTE. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
About the Role
- Assess and diagnose patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities
- Treat patients using various techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and education
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- BCLS certification
- Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing
- Additional education or training in specialized areas, such as cardio-respiratory techniques or manual therapy
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate of $42.89
- Part-time long assignment with 37.5 hours biweekly
- Approximately 12 months
