About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at D'Theatre Restaurant and Pub. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Deliver clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • General Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
