Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Restock supplies, receive and store inventory, and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping food items
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following proper food safety and handling procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
