Job Title: Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Golden Apple Childcare and Out of School Daycare. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities for school-age children
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
  • Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers
  • Assist in keeping records as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
Work Environment:
