About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Learning for Life Childcare Ltd as a Childcare Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers
  • Assist in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Engage Children in Activities
    • Tell stories and sing songs to stimulate imagination and creativity
    • Prepare crafts and activities to promote fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Prepare Snacks and Maintain a Clean Environment
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Participate in Staff Meetings
    • Discuss progress and problems of children with colleagues
    • Share ideas and best practices for childcare and education
  • Work Term and Hours
    • Permanent position
    • 40 hours per week
  • Language and Communication
    • English language proficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field
