Job Title: Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Golden Apple Childcare and Out of School Daycare. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities for school-age children.
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition for children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment as needed.
