About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Learning for Life Childcare Ltd as a Childcare Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Engage Children in Activities
    • Tell stories and sing songs to promote language and literacy skills
    • Prepare crafts and activities to encourage creativity and fine motor skills
  • Prepare Meals and Snacks
  • Arrange rooms and furniture to create a safe and inviting environment for children
  • Document Children's Progress
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a childcare setting
  • Permanent employment
  • Language of work: English
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week
