Speech Language Pathologist

Renfrew Educational Services is a leading provider of educational programs and services for children and youth with disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
About the RoleThis permanent part-time position will support various programs, including the Low Incidence Team and Community Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with students, teachers, and families to provide assessment, skill development, and funding applications for alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tools.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation, professional development, and direct intervention across various environments.
- Collaborate with students, teachers, and families to implement AAC strategies and coordinate trials.
- Manage funding for speech-generating communication devices and provide support for students with complex communication needs.
- A Degree/Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and proof of registration with ACSLPA are required.
- Experience with AAC tools and access methods, such as eye gaze, switch, and direct with hands, is an asset.
- Understanding of and/or work experience with Indigenous Peoples and First Nations communities is an asset.
- Flexible and organized with good planning/time management and problem-solving skills.
