We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Renfrew Educational Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our programs and services for students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement AAC strategies and tools to support students with complex communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to provide consultation, professional development, and direct intervention
- Support the Low Incidence Team in providing services for students who are blind or visually impaired, or Dd/deaf and hard of hearing
- Work with the Community Services team to provide consultation, professional development, and direct intervention across various environments
- Develop and maintain relationships with school districts, independent schools, and other settings in southern Alberta
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and proof of registration with ACSLPA
- Experience with a variety of AAC tools and access methods
- Understanding of and/or work experience with Indigenous Peoples and First Nations communities
- Flexible and organized with good planning/time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable vehicle, auto insurance with a minimum $2,000,000.00 liability, and driver's license
