Position Overview

Cintas is in search of a dedicated Accounts Receivable Representative. The role encompasses various accounts receivable tasks, including monitoring assigned accounts to pinpoint overdue payments; strategizing recovery methods for outstanding balances; engaging in extensive phone communication with clients; identifying and reaching out to debtors to ascertain payment status; negotiating repayment timelines or installment plans; addressing inquiries or concerns; investigating and rectifying discrepancies; fostering positive relationships with clients; regularly updating account statuses and databases; notifying supervisors of clients who are unwilling or unable to settle their debts; and adhering to protocols when legal measures become necessary.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in collections
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally to meet collections objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet navigation

Desirable

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with SAP and AS400 systems
