About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering co-op student to join our Discipline Engineering Department as a 4-month intern. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to be involved in research, design, development, testing, and maintenance of aspects of mining, mineral process operations, and capital project development and execution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support Capital Sustaining projects team in Discipline Engineering Department
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform design and development decisions
  • Develop and maintain engineering drawings and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Participate in testing and maintenance activities to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly

Requirements

  • At least two years of completed studies in Civil or Mechanical, Civil/Structural Engineering, or any other related field
  • Safety mindset and leadership skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Flexibility and autonomy to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
  • Valid driving license
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
