About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Assistant to join our team at CFRS Incorporated. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on small tractors, lawn and snow removal attachments, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Tool Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the storage and retrieval of tools and equipment.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment, and changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
  • Shop and Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the shop and warehouse areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Provide pick-up and delivery services as required, and ensure that all equipment is properly secured and transported.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance or repair role is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move equipment as required.
  • Equipment and Tools: Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
