Dental Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Slipacoff Dental Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and recording dental procedures.
- Assist with reception and clerical duties, providing excellent customer service to patients.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns, apply fluoride and sealant, and perform other intra-oral duties as required.
- Take and develop X-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Record and invoice patients for dental services, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colours.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
