- Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including preparing dental instruments and filling materials.
- Maintain and order supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant as needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Perform intra-oral duties, including taking and developing X-rays.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate records.
- Invoice patients for dental services and ensure that all financial transactions are handled efficiently.
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
