- Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including preparing and sending reports.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials for use during procedures.
- Maintain and order supplies to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant as needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and ensure timely communication with patients and staff.
- Perform intra-oral duties, including taking X-rays and recording dental procedures.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate records.
- Invoice patients for dental services and ensure timely payment.
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
