Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Civil Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling projects within the agreed-upon timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all project activities to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Manage project documentation to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
  • Obtain approvals and modify contracts to reduce payment delays from clients.
  • Prepare and communicate detailed project schedules and three-week forecasts (MS Project is an asset).
  • Verify and analyze project proposals, contracts, and documents.
  • Identify additional project documents required.
  • Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes and reports as needed.
  • Monitor project progress, manage directives, and modify contracts.
  • Maintain and control project budgets, making projections as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of concrete formwork.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to sites and the office regularly.
  • Valid driver's license.
