Responsibilities:

* Provides Aqua Fitness instruction
* Plans, designs, and implements Aqua Fitness classes for all ages and abilities
* Ensures that the equipment is in place and operational
* Reports any situations and/or areas of concern to Head Instructor/Guard
* Acts to deal with incidents, problems, and emergencies and complies with Divisional/City policies and procedures
* Follows safety supervision basics and ensures safety of program participants
* Practices a preventative approach to safety and responds to accidents and incidents involving patrons as required, including completing proper documentation
* Attends and participates in training sessions as required

Requirements:

* Standard First Aid, CPR C, and AED Certification
* Must possess one of the recognized Aquatic Fitness Certifications - CALA, WaterART, or AQX, YMCA, or equivalent
