We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse - Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals in a long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and document the physical and psychosocial needs of residents
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure a high standard of care
- Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
- Minimum of one (1) year recent related experience
- Current Level 1 First Aid ticket
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
