We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Maternity team at Mills Memorial Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to women and newborns, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Assess and implement individualized care plans to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current practicing registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Successful completion of post-graduate Obstetrical course or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) or willingness to take
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent CPR certification
