The Role

We are seeking a progressive Production Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in implementing programs and business initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Implement and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, supply chain) to drive innovation and process improvements.
  • Manage production budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing leadership role within the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
