Job Title: VP Payments

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Payments to lead our payments strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive payments plan that drives revenue growth, improves client retention, and enhances our market position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the strategic plan to advance our payments objectives and grow new profitable revenue streams
  • Define the total addressable market and prioritize account engagement across our businesses
  • Establish partnerships and an economic model to maximize opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across our portfolio to enable a technical solution
  • Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
  • Manage the process for budgeting, forecasting, and review of actual results in coordination with corporate finance staff
  • Develop a unique value proposition by business that drives revenue, profitability, and client retention
  • Highlight potential acquisition opportunities to the Group Leader
  • Maintain key relationships with partners, industry influencers, and competitors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in payments business with 3+ years of hands-on experience successfully managing all aspects of a development team that designs and delivers software products and services
  • Experience managing P&L
  • Proven leader and builder of exceptional teams
  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to drive through to results
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and one who has strong interpersonal skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel
  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously get work done
