Job Summary

The Residence Facility Coordinator is a key role within UW Residences, responsible for managing facility and security-related issues. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide initial assessment and response to facility and security issues within UW Residences
  • Coordinate and prioritize work orders, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient resolution
  • Manage the department's work order system, HoME, and track workflow to ensure services are completed on time
  • Plan and coordinate cyclical tasks, such as maintenance projects and spring term planning
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including students and staff
  • Work closely with other Housing and Operations teams to identify new improvements and efficiencies

Requirements

  • College diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Valid class G driver's license with a good driving record
  • Minimum 1 year experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Experience with customer relations, record keeping, and facilities management
  • Working knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations
