Position Overview

Graymont Limited is seeking a dedicated Rail Terminal Operations Specialist to manage the unloading of railcars and the loading of trucks while ensuring the effective operation of terminal equipment. We pride ourselves on providing a secure and cooperative work atmosphere with comprehensive benefits.

The Rail Terminal Operations Specialist may be required to work shifts throughout the week during peak periods. Basic maintenance skills will be advantageous.

Compensation: $34.32 per hour (after 90 days)

Role at the Lamont County Facility

As one of North America's leading producers of lime and limestone, Graymont's Lamont Terminal is a well-established facility committed to community engagement and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Unload railcars into designated storage silos
  • Load trucks with finished products
  • Assist with various manual labor tasks within the facility as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physically capable and willing to work rotating shifts
  • Strong collaboration skills in a self-directed environment
  • Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable to fast-paced work conditions with changing priorities
  • Mechanical experience is a plus; basic lubrication and maintenance tasks are necessary
  • Previous experience in industrial settings is preferred
