About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Fastlane Transport Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of your vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the safe operation of your vehicle at all times.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other drivers and team members to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation network.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a long haul truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime.
