About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. The role involves repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding activities such as bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking.
