Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector

As the ideal candidate, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting dimensional inspections
  • Reviewing Material Test Reports
  • Auditing receiving and other internal processes
  • Performing visual inspections
  • Witnessing electrical tests
  • Executing Electrical Inspection and Test Plans
  • Carrying out Source Inspections, In-Process Inspections, and Final Inspections
  • Completing all relevant documentation, including Quality Control reports, sign-offs on installation completion and code compliance, and reviewing as-built drawings
  • Verifying the calibration of measuring and testing equipment

Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field
  • Certification as a Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician
  • Preference for candidates with FRS A or B ticket
  • Experience with IMIT systems and/or prior inspection experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Solid understanding of the latest British Columbia Safety Codes and Standata
  • Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
