Electrical and IMIT Quality Assurance Specialist

At Plan Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical and IMIT Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our electrical and IMIT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
  • Review material test reports to verify the quality of materials used in our projects
  • Audit receiving and internal processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures
  • Perform visual inspections to identify any defects or anomalies in electrical systems
  • Witness electrical tests to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with industry standards
  • Execute electrical inspection and test plans to ensure that our projects meet the required quality standards
  • Perform source inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards
  • Complete all associated documentation, including quality control reports, sign-off on installation completion, and code compliance
  • Verify the calibration of measuring and test equipment to ensure that it is accurate and reliable

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical and IMIT industry
  • Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification
  • Preference will be given to candidates with FRS A or B ticket
  • Experience with IMIT systems and/or previous inspection experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office software
  • Good knowledge of the latest British Columbia Safety Codes and Standata
  • Good understanding of CEC code
