This position offers hands-on learning and training in various aspects of purchasing, including daily activities and special projects.
As a member of our Purchasing team, you will assist with tasks such as data-driven reporting, supplier analysis, and Standard Operating Procedure development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Purchasing team with daily activities and special projects.
- Preparing and presenting data-driven reports and spreadsheets to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
- Conducting detailed analysis of suppliers to assess performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures to streamline and improve purchasing processes.
This role is based in our Halifax office and follows a hybrid work model, requiring the successful applicant to be onsite two days per week.
