The position involves on-the-job hands-on learning and training, with a focus on developing skills in data analysis, presentation, and supplier evaluation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Supporting Purchasing Team:** Assist with daily purchasing activities and contribute to special projects as assigned.
  • **Data Analysis and Reporting:** Prepare and present data-driven reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
  • **Supplier Evaluation:** Conduct detailed analysis of suppliers to assess performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • **Process Improvement:** Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures to streamline and improve purchasing processes.

This position is based in our Halifax office and follows a hybrid work model, requiring the successful applicant to be onsite two days per week.
