Key Responsibilities
As a Hedge Fund Accounting Senior Associate , your duties will include:
- Calculating and verifying the weekly and/or monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) for designated funds.
- Conducting daily cash reconciliations (ensuring no unresolved discrepancies).
- Reviewing daily portfolio position reconciliations (covering equities, bonds, swaps, options, fund of funds, foreign exchange, futures, and other evolving derivative instruments).
- Analyzing and confirming traders' profit and loss statements on a daily basis.
- Ensuring accurate daily pricing of all positions.
- Reviewing accounting entries for precision.
- Validating partner/shareholder allocation calculations, including management and incentive fee assessments.
- Guaranteeing that all daily client reporting deadlines are met by your team.
- Ensuring that weekly/monthly end Dealing Date NAV deadlines are achieved by your team.
- Reviewing the weekly/month-end NAV package prior to presentation to the NAV Officer/Manager.
- Leading or assisting in the preparation of financial statements (monthly and annually).
- Leading or assisting with working paper preparation and inquiries related to the annual audit.
- Leading or assisting with periodic financial reporting for Hedge Funds (e.g., Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Statement of Profit and Loss).
- Reviewing and comprehending the fund's offering memorandum and ensuring compliance with its details.
- Facilitating appropriate task allocation and collaboration within the team.
- Promoting effective communication within the team on a daily basis.

Educational Background & Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of management-level experience in a hedge fund administration setting.
- At least 3 years of experience in hedge fund administration or related financial services.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Accounting experience is advantageous.
- Proven ability to supervise a team effectively.
