Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
  • Authorize Payments: Ensure accurate and timely payment processing for employees and vendors.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of merchandise and manage inventory levels.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Sell Merchandise: Foster a positive shopping environment and drive sales growth through effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
  • Supervise Staff: Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to sales associates and management staff.
  • Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, including processing payroll, benefits, and time-off requests.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
