Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support to customers, identifying their needs and providing recommendations on our products and services
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Enter sales orders and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Grow and retain established customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Follow up on backorders and resolve any issues related to customer orders
  • Process returns and warranty claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Support Counter Sales activities and provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or sales
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to communicate and analyze customer data
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide profitable solutions
  • Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Intermediate math skills

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook
