Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety at Zorbas Bakery and Foods (2005) Ltd. This position involves meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and execution of chemical analyses.
  • Compile and maintain records for analytical assessments.
  • Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Utilize MS Office for documentation and reporting.
  • Support the development of sampling and analysis programs to uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the establishment of health and safety protocols.
  • Compile and interpret data from experimental or analytical results.
  • Design and execute sampling and analysis initiatives.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in industrial health and safety.
  • Background in quality assurance and control.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Flexibility to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks.
