Housing Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District Incorporated. As a key member of our community service organization, you will play a vital role in providing support to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, family, or group interviews to assess client situations and identify required services.
  • Develop and implement personalized assistance programs for clients.
  • Refer clients to relevant agencies offering financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment, and other essential services.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
