Position Overview:

As the Global Inventory Planning Manager, you will have a pivotal role in enhancing Mosaic's supply chain efficiency. Your primary objective will be to optimize the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory across our global warehouses. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess and operational expertise to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. If you are driven by the challenge of refining inventory processes and fostering significant improvements, this role is tailored for you.

Work Environment:

This role is based at our North America business headquarters, offering a hybrid work model with designated office days. You will also have the option to adopt a 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide Operations and Sourcing towards optimal inventory strategies.
  • Provide leadership and constructive feedback to ensure clarity in roles, business objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance organizational talent retention and growth.
  • Facilitate discussions with managers on critical procurement topics, including working capital, savings, compliance, supplier risk, diversity, sustainability, inventory planning, and project management.
  • Implement effective inventory reduction initiatives, encouraging innovative solutions while establishing guidelines for MRO demand cycles and stock levels.
  • Ensure accountability among stakeholders for maintaining streamlined inventory levels and cost efficiency.
  • Engage with Operations and Procurement counterparts to uphold established guidelines for storeroom management.
  • Lead efforts to develop processes that mitigate disruption risks and enhance inventory planning and management for MRO supplies across North and South America.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Over 7 years of experience in supply chain or procurement roles.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of building effective working relationships.
  • Highly analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or a master's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Asset Management.
  • Experience in heavy industrial, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
