Position Overview:
As the Global Inventory Planning Manager, you will be pivotal in enhancing Mosaic's supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory across our global warehouses. This role demands a strategic mindset, utilizing your analytical and operational expertise to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. If you are driven by a passion for inventory optimization and impactful change, this position is designed for you.
Work Environment:
This role is based at our North America business headquarters, offering a hybrid work model with designated office days and flexible remote work options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide Operations and Sourcing teams towards optimal inventory solutions.
- Provide leadership and constructive feedback to ensure clarity in roles, business objectives, and performance expectations.
- Mentor and develop team members to cultivate organizational talent.
- Facilitate discussions with managers on critical procurement areas, including working capital, compliance, supplier risk, and inventory planning.
- Implement effective inventory reduction strategies, encouraging innovative solutions and establishing MRO demand guidelines.
- Ensure accountability among stakeholders for achieving streamlined inventory levels and cost reductions.
- Lead efforts to engage Operations and Procurement counterparts in adhering to established inventory management guidelines.
- Oversee the development and execution of processes to mitigate disruption risks and enhance inventory management for MRO supplies across North and South America.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills with experience in managing complex projects.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Highly analytical with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Asset Management.
- Experience in heavy industrial, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.
- Fluency in advanced Portuguese and/or Spanish.
