Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Inventory Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in driving optimization of our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory across all warehouses worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize MRO inventory levels, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Provide leadership and direction to the inventory planning team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to identify opportunities for inventory reduction and process improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal partners.
- Analyze data and metrics to inform inventory planning decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement processes to mitigate risks associated with inventory management, including supply chain disruptions and inventory obsolescence.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement, with a focus on inventory management.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience managing complex projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master's degree in supply chain management or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, asset management, or industry.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
