About the Opportunity

Lrostaffing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team on a contract basis until the end of December 2024, with a possibility of extension. This position is a great opportunity for a professional with hands-on experience in financial management to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact on the company's financial health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including experience with financial software such as Jonas Enterprise. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Cash Flow Management: Oversee the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  2. Financial Oversight: Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations, including general ledger management and financial reporting.
  3. HST Filing: Prepare and file HST returns in compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
  4. Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify and reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  5. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  6. Payroll Processing: Upload payroll hours to ADP each Monday to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
  7. Data Entry: Enter invoices and credit card receipts into the Jonas Enterprise system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

About You

  1. Minimum five years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  2. Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or related field.
  3. Previous working experience with Jonas Enterprise is strongly preferred.
